The Grammy Look: on lips- Girl About Town lipstick topped with Funtabulous Dazzleglass
The Grammy Look: on eyes- Soft Ochre Paint Pot, Soft Brown e/s, Carbon e/s on outer lid, Smolder Eye Kohl on bottom waterline, Fresh Green Mix on center lid, Zoom Fast Black Lash
The Style Session Event I went to last Friday was so fun!!! Basically, the format for the class was to divide into groups of 3. There were about 6 to 8 people per group. There were 3 looks that were featured: The Hollywood Look, The Everyday Look and The Grammy Look. In this non-classroom format, each of us were allowed to view each look up close. In the classroom style setting those who sat in the back might not see the full detail of the look. Each of the makeup artist encourage us to ask questions. I didn't take any pictures (not sure if you can anyway) so I'll describe the best I can about each.

Hey, long time no see...
As promised, I have uploaded a new video as well as writing on this blog.

The Hollywood Look consist more of the simple glamorous look. The false lashes to accentuate the eye and nude lips (made famous by JLo). In this look, the makeup artist ask one member of the group to volunteer being our model for the look. The makeup artist (I'm sorry I forgot her name- although she looked a lot- a whole lot like Eva Mendes) applied false lashes using MAC #7 with the DUO glue. She snipped a bit at the end and bend the lashes a bit to loosen it up. She applied and let dry for 20 seconds and then worked on the other lash. She applied the lash layng the inner portion and middle first then the outer end. For the lips, she used Prep & Prime lip so that color will adhere longer. She then applied Creme D'Nude using the MAC 316 lipbrush. She applied the lipstick starting from the upper lip from the outer edge then towards the middle. To make the lips pop, she applied Bare Necessity Dazzleglass.
The Everyday Look consist of a more natural no-makeup look. It's effortless but gorgeous at the same time. I don't remember everything in detail or in the right order but I'll do the best I can on what makeup artist Louise Zisson (I think that's how you spell her last name). Anyway, she's awesome and did an excellent natural look on another model in the group. She used Strobe Cream with the #130 brush all over. The she spritz Fix+ lightly. She then applied Mineralize Satin Foundation. For the eyes she used Fast Response Eye Cream around the eyes to diminish any fine lines and to de-puff as well. The for the eye lid, the used Shroom eyeshadow all over with the #224 brush. The she applied Gorgeous Gold just at the center of the lid. To highlight, she applied Hush Cream Colour Base around the outer part of the eye- forming a C motion. For face powder, she used 2 MSF in Medium Dark and a lighter shade (don't remember). For lips, she applied Bare Necessity. I really like the look- it's simple and pretty without looking so bare.
The Grammy Look consist of a more rock and roll type look. Dark eyes with a pop of color and bright bold lips. Kim, the regional makeup artist, pulled me to model the look. She first toned down my oily face! LOL She then applied Fling eyebrow pencil on the brows. She used Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid. Followed by Soft Brown eyeshadow all over the crease. Then added carbon on the outer lid to accentuate. For color, she added Fresh Greem Mix Mineralize eyeshadow on the center of the lid only. To define the eyes even more, she applied Smolder Eye Kohl on the waterline and lined with Fresh Green Mix. For mascara, she used Zoom Fast Black lash to thicken and lengthen the lash (I was already wearing Opulash earlier in the day). The awesome part was the lips: primed lips with Prep & Prime lip. Followed by Girl About Town lipstick. To top it off make it an intense bold lip, she used Funtabulous Dazzleglass. Oh boy, did I not glow! Something I would not have considered to put together at all. Thank you Kim for the look!
